Stonington High School will induct new members of the Tri-M music honors society next Tuesday, Nov. 27th. The ceremony will take place in the band room at 7:00 PM.

The ceremony will feature inductees performing a solo piece of their choice, which is a requirement to join the society. In order to be eligible for membership, students must have a weighted GPA of B or higher and have been in high school music classes for three years. Tri-M is comprised of both band and chorus members who have shown incredible achievement in their respective musical professions.

Members of Tri-M volunteer at various music events throughout the year, including all band and chorus concerts. Membership is a prestigious honor for music students, who take their work very seriously.
