My name is Sienna Ponte and even though I’m a junior here, this is my first year as part of the Journalism staff. I have always enjoyed writing, but it was only recently that I decided to express my love for writing by taking as many classes as I could that involved it. Outside of school, I like to free write and binge watch some Netflix shows, specifically Wynnona Earp, Friends, The Vampire Diaries, and Criminal Minds. As for now, I’m not doing any sports, but I plan on trying out for the softball team in the spring. During the whole school year, I tend to join a lot of clubs and activities, so I have things to do.  This year I am taking part in the Alliance for Acceptance, Mock Trial, Drama, Unified Basketball and more. Once I get out of high school, I hope to go to a good college that will allow me to acquire major in English or Creative Writing because having a hand in writing or editing is something that I am passionate about.
