If you are either fast, strong or can jump, then track in the winter is perfect for you. If you are particularly speedy then the 55m dash is perfect for you. If you are more of a long-distance runner then the 1000, 1600 (the mile), and the 3200 (two-mile) is perfect for you. If you are more of a mid-distance runner then you can run a 4 x 200, 300m, 4 x 400, and the 4 x 800. If you are more of a jumping type person then you can long jump, high jump, and do the 55m hurdles. If you are very strong, shot put is perfect for you (the shot put for girls is 8.8 pounds and for the boys, it’s 12 pounds). If you are very strong, the pole vault is for you.
