The Stonington Softball Team’s “Play for the Cure” game will take place Monday, May 13 at 5 pm.

Their annual game is against Waterford, and the teams raise money for breast cancer survivors and all proceeds go to different organizations and foundations for research. Many look forward to this game each year because it has become a beloved tradition for the players, the community, and all those who have been affected by cancer.

The two teams have come together for many years to play for such a good cause, making it a special time of year for both of them.

The team will start collecting donations soon, and any contribution is greatly appreciated.

Many people from both towns and the surrounding communities always show up, so the softball team encourages all to come and show their support.
