The Boys Tennis Team Moves to 9-0 After Victory Against St. Bernard

On Monday, April 29, the boys’ tennis team won their match against St. Bernard with a score of 7-0. This was an ECC out-of-division tennis match. They won five matches in straight sets and received two forfeits.

No. 1 singles player Jake Stiger won his match 6-1, 6-0. No. 2 singles player Will Michelson won 6-0, 6-0. No. 3 and No. 4 singles players also won their matches 6-0, 6-0.

No. 1 doubles Graham Johnstone and Kyle Remmert won their match 6-0, 6-0. St. Bernard’s No. 2 and No. 3 doubles forfeited the match.

The team is now 9-0 and their next match is Wednesday at 4 pm on the SHS Tennis Courts against Woodstock Academy.
