Wednesday, November 4, the Varsity boys soccer team traveled to Middletown Connecticut to play on the Class M state semifinals game against Plainville. The boys played a tough game in the freezing cold weather but suffered a rare loss that ended their 19-3 season.

The final score was 2-1 (Plainville 2, Stonington 1) with a solo goal by Sam Montalto.

Plainville moved to the finals on Saturday, November 17, and pulled out a 1-0 win over Ellington.
