On November 16th, the Russian Ballet Theatre will present the classic “Swan Lake” to the Garde Arts Center audience in New London.

Featuring a score by Tchaikovsky, “Swan Lake” is a world-renowned tale of love, tragedy, and magic. Through dance, it tells the story of Prince Siegfried and Odette, a beautiful princess who–under the spell of a sorcerer–is transformed into a swan during the day.

The Russian Ballet Theatre production is sure to entrance audiences with new choreography, hand-painted sets, and hand-stitched costumes, all while maintaining the same magic of the original ballet. Accomplished designer Sergei Novikov created over 150 costumes, while special effects makeup was done by Irina Strukova, who has worked for Netflix and HBO.

The show will run from 8:00 to 10:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the Garde Arts Center website.
