Support Language Honor Societies- Come to Car Wash Fundraiser on October 19th

Story by Ava Schrage, Editor/ Staff Writer

On Saturday, October 19th, both the French and Spanish Honor Societies are hosting a car wash here at the high school all day to raise money for their organizations.

Tickets are being sold by the members of the group for $5 per car, and you can get them up until the day of the event. In addition to the car wash, a bake sale will also be going on, where you can buy water bottles and baked goods to show your support as well.

The members of the Spanish Honor Society have decided to give a portion of their earnings to All Hands and Hearts, a nonprofit organization founded in MA to help those who have been affected by natural disasters all over the United States. As for the French Honor Society students, they’ve chosen to donate to the children in HELO orphanage in Haiti that takes in children whose parents have passed or abandoned them after natural disasters in the country.

If you have any further questions about the fundraiser, see any member of the language societies or their organizer, Mrs. Kennedy, for more information.
