STONINGTON, CT (October 2nd, 2017) – The Stonington High School Interact Club hosted a car wash on September 30th, 2017 and raised $1,600. The money donated will be going towards packaging 10,000 meals for children in impoverished countries.

“The car wash was one of the most successful ones we’ve ever had, it’s really a great start to our $3,000 goal for the year”-commented Weber, president of Interact

About the Stonington High School Interact Club

The Stonington High School Interact Club is a group of motivated students dedicated towards making a difference locally and globally. Each year the group raises $3,000 to package 10,000 meals to send children in impoverished countries through the organization Rise Against Hunger. The Interact Club also focuses on fundraising and local volunteering throughout the entire school year.
