“Friends” Reunion Special to Air on HBO Max

January 1, 2020, was a very sad day for all the “Friends” fans in the world. The popular 90s sitcom was taken off of the streaming site, Netflix. Last month, it was announced that “Friends” will be put on the new streaming service, HBO Max. Not only will all 236 episodes be on HBO Max, but there will also be a reunion special with all the original cast members. 

David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc will be returning to Warner Bros. Studio where the series was shot beginning 25 years ago. This past September marked the 25th anniversary of the sitcom that ran from 1994 to 2004. 

Many members of the cast posted a picture officially announcing this reunion special and the return of the show to a streaming service. Fans from all around started liking, commenting and reposting, sharing their excitement for this special. 

The special is set to air on HBO Max in May of this year.
