This year’s annual Halo awards will be held on May 28, May 29, and June 3, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury. Stonington will only be attending the award ceremony on Tuesday, May 28th.

The SHS drama program is up for 16 nominations at this year’s ceremony for their production of Hello, Dolly! and Hiding In The Open. The Nominations include:

Grace Gilbert for Best Performance By a Leading Actress In a Classical Musical and Best Performance By a Leading Actress In a Contemporary Play.

Nick Turco for Best Performance By a Leading Actor In a Classical Musical.

Erich Phelps for Best Performance By Supporting Actor In a Musical and Best Performance By Featured Actor In a Play.

Chloé Kolbenheyer for Best Performance By Supporting Actress In a Musical and Best Performance By Featured Actress In a Play.

Christopher-David Caraballo for Best Performance By Featured Actor In a Musical.

SHS Drama Program for Best Classical Music, Best Chorus, Best Running Crew, Best Orchestra, Best Dancing, Best Sound Design and/or Execution, Best Props Design. and/or Management, and the Fearless Award.
