The Stonington High School Band will put on their annual winter concert on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.

The concert will feature performances from the Jazz, Flute and Clarinet Ensembles, as well as selections from the full band. The concert will feature some Christmas songs: the Jazz Band will play “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” and the full band will play a compilation of Christmas songs named “Christmas Classics.” Other highlights include “Stairway to Heaven” from the Jazz Band and “Africa” from the full band.

Seniors will also be recognized for their participation in band, as the ceremony during Senior Night was canceled due to rain. A reception will be held afterward in the Commons. The band will hold two more concerts throughout the year: a spring concert on March 20 and the Pops concert with the chorus on June 1.
